The population of Sri Lanka consists of a multi-religious community, and is predominantly Buddhist.
Sri Lanka is also a land that has been graced by three visits of The Buddha, and where His doctrines, philosophy and teachings are cherished and observed with reverence.
From the very inception, Buddhism and Hinduism have been so closely associated to such extents that wherever there is a Buddhist temple, there is also a Hindu shrine in the same premises.
This tour is specially designed so that both Buddhist and Hindu pilgrims could have that divine opportunity of personally visiting places related to the Life of the Buddha and important Hindu shrines.
